"How to Report" Tutorial
Hello, to all new members and to all who've stayed with us for awhile. Right now,
I will be guiding you through some basics of correct and incorrect reporting. Whether you're
an experienced member or not, it never hurts to read a tutorial. I'll show you a few
common situations in-game and in forum, and how should they be handled.
Taking a Screenshot
First thing's first, before I begin to guide you through situations, you
must know how to take a screenshot. Because screenshots are basically everything
you'll be needing for proof and reporting a user.
Step 1:
On your screen,
in the bottom left corner, there's an icon of a four squares which is normally called "Start".
Click on it. A bunch of programs, options, and a white search bar will appear.
Step 2:
Click on the search bar, and enter "Snipping Tool". You'll see a program with a scissors
icon. Click on it, and a window will open. Above, in the options bar, you should see an option
"New". Select it. After, your whole screen will be highlighted.
Step 3:
Your cursor will now be a big + icon. To select the area you'd like to screenshot,
simply click and hold, then drag the cursor to create a larger area to screenshot.
Step 4:
Nearly there! After a successful shot, above the "New" option, there will be "File".
Select that option, and then select "Save as". Save it under any name,
and in any folder you prefer, once you're all set, click on "Save" in the bottom right corner.
You're done! Great work!
*Note if you're taking a screenshot in-game, while your option is in 'full screen mode' (Or you could press Tab),
press Prt Scrn / Print Screen button on your keyboard. It will take a shot of the full screen. You can access the photo in the Screenshots folder, or if you have an (OLD OLD OLD) Version, just locate the screenshot in the client folder.
Uploading a Screenshot
So, you got a screenshot, great. But, even if you do, we can't see it 'til you upload it.
So moving on, I'll help you with uploading your evidence!
Step 1:
Go on your browser, any kind, it could be:
Chrome, Mozzila Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.
Step 2:
After, above the web you'll see a white search bar. Enter "tinypic.com".
The link will take you to the Tinypic page. (you can also click the button add image to post (easy) at the top
Step 3:
There will be a form for you to fill out, in order to upload an image.
First, click on the "Choose File" button. A window will open. Search for
a picture you wanted to upload. When finished, click on "Open" at the
bottom right corner of the window.
Step 4:
Choose a file type. You will mostly use the "Image" file, so
you don't need to select any other types, as the default is already set on
image file type.
Step 5:
Click the huge big button that screams success
right at your face, which is "UPLOAD NOW!".
Fill out the captcha, and click "Upload Now" again.
Step 6:
Oh, it's loading, yes! Click on "View image full size" option which is right
under the tiny picture you uploaded. Right click on the image, and select the
option "Copy image address" (or URL).
You can also copy the URL codes from the list of codes, on left side beside the uploaded image.
Step 7:
Now, find the member on the forum which will be easy to do, simply look on their profile and you will
see a button that says "report" on it, click it and fill out the information it asks for.
If you cannot find the persons forum account just send a PM to a staff member
and send them the screenshot via Private Message, by doing this quick code:

Forum Situations
Alright, now that we've covered the basics, we can move on to some common
situations that you can encounter on the forum.
Remember, don't try to handle anything yourself!
It counts as 'mini-modding', and we don't want you to get in trouble
and in stead of helping, made things worse for the staff and yourself.
Therefore, if you want to help, report it.
1. Posts out of place
There are quite a lot of post types that break the rules, or they're just out of place.
Here are the types of posts that should be reported to a Forum or Global Moderator:
Off-topic, double-post, a spam, insulting, bumping old thread, and inappropriate.
To help the staff, you can always take a screenshot of the post you discovered and mention
the person's username. It's better if you DO include the username in your screenshot,
for better evidence.
2. Behaviour
There's also quite a few of behaviour types. Like so:
Swearing/cursing/cussing, offending, threatening, bullying, insulting, sexual, and inappropriate behaviour.
If you'll spot any of the types above, report it with no doubt crossing your mind!
Another situation is when you get threatened in a private message,
which should be handled just like the out of place posts.
Take a screenshot of the whole paragraph, and make sure we
can see the username in the picture as well! The staff will get control of the situation further.
*Note that "Behavior" is the preferred spelling in American English. "Behaviour" is preferred everywhere else. Other than the spelling, there is no difference between the two words. Therefore, I'd like to say, no, I did not misspell a word in the title above.
3. Inappropriate
Usually, you might discover anything inappropriate through text, but
there's also a chance of people using signature or avatar pictures which aren't appropriate.
If you're an experienced member, you'll know that, for example, seeing a picture of
a naked woman or man, violence, and more where that came from is CLEARLY NOT appropriate.
Same thing with posts. If you find a picture, text, or anything else
that seems inappropriate, screenshot it and inform a moderator.
Game Situations
Great! You can move on to the game situations now. Which
might appear slightly more difficult to report it correctly.
1. Chat box
Alright, the chat box is a public tool for communicating with other people,
and we have to keep it clean from:
Spam, insult, drama, sexual conversations/behaviour, etc.
Report it to a moderator, or if one of the In-game moderators are online,
tell them what's been happening, but keep a screenshot with yourself. The
screenshot MUST include the chat, the character of the rule breaker, and it's username.
2. Lost item
Sometimes it happens. A items gets stolen, or as I say "eaten by the server", and actually,
the second option occurs more often. If your item just simply disappear from your characters
and the stash, there's only one thing you can do to get your item back. You have to screenshot the item
on your character, or screenshot the name of it in your stash.
If your item was stolen, screenshot the username and character of the player who has taken your item.
But again, you must show us a picture of your character wearing the item. Otherwise, we can't help you due
to many people abusing this option and telling staff that they lost an item, when they've actually never had it
in the first place.
3. Impersonating
If you find any player 'mini-modding', or trying to act like a staff member,
report it right away, with the screenshot of the chat box, character of the rule breaker,
and his/her username!
